My name is Annie Hirschhorn and I grew up in Maryland. After graduating from Yale in 2008 with a degree in Art History, I moved to Seattle and began a teaching career. I then moved to Boston, where I continued teaching while earning my master’s degree in education and illustrating three children’s books. After seven years of teaching, I moved back to the D.C. area to be close to my family and to pursue my dream of creating my own organizing business.
My passion for organizing has many facets. I love working with people, hearing their stories, and supporting them through what can often be challenging transitions, whether moving homes, sorting out logistics following the passing of a loved one, or confronting clutter. I am committed to socially- and environmentally-conscious recycling and disposal of items and work to be sure that any item my clients no longer want or need goes where it will have the biggest impact while leaving the smallest footprint.
