Moving out of a four-story, 4,000-square-foot-plus house is hard enough. Doing it in six weeks is worse. But having to plan it all long-distance is the final straw (that almost broke this camel’s back!) That’s when Annie saved the day. Not only did she provide majordomo assistance on moving day, she then spent a weekend carting away everything that was left over. Mattresses, old bedding, costume jewelry, leftover lights: you name it, she got it out the door and found creative new homes for it. To quote her: “My very last option is the dumpster.” Who knew, for example, that the ASPCA welcomes old linens for their cats and dogs? I really don’t know what I would have done over that awful move-out weekend without the ever-resourceful and unfailingly supportive Annie. I cannot recommend her more highly.

I am well organized and happy to purge and clean. But hiring Annie was the best thing I did when we moved from our 5000 SF house to a 1500 SF apartment. She is highly professional; a very hard worker; creative; great on follow-through; and easy to work with even when you are tired and not at your best.
Annie makes the overwhelming manageable. Cheerfully, supportively, and non-judgmentally, she tackles those areas of your house or office that you have been avoiding and that have been causing you stress. She knows myriad local resources to give things you’ve been keeping because “someone could use them” and where to responsibly dispose of things that can’t be donated.

Annie helped us create a collage of artwork on our main living room wall. We have many different art pieces and didn’t know how to place everything together. Due to Annie’s patient nature, creative eye, and great sense of design, we now have a masterpiece of art landscaped on our wall that receives compliments whenever we have guests!

If you are lucky enough to be reading this evaluation it means you are lucky enough to be considering engaging Annie Hirschhorn on your current organizing project. If you decide to work with Annie, you are making a very good decision.
First the basics: Annie is very trustworthy; she is careful with and will not divulge your confidential information. She is always polite and punctual. You can count on that from Annie.
Now for her work: She is of good spirits, industrious, strong, filled with energy and likes to get things done, get them done right, and get them done right now! If you have a haystack of projects that have been waiting for your attention, prepare yourself to enjoy a sense of accomplishment with the resulting peace of mind that will follow.
Annie can do almost anything. She is better educated than you have a right to expect. She is culturally aware, both by background and opportunity. Annie is very savvy. If she doesn’t know the answer to a particular question, she knows how to find out.
For example: Annie would not be expected to know how many years of old tax returns you should keep, BUT she will insist that you call your accountant and find out. If you are reluctant to contact your accountant, with your permission, Annie will contact your accountant on your behalf and get the answer. She will then help you dig through your haystack of records to be organized, and find your old tax returns. She will then order filing supplies from Staples and label those newly-acquired filing supplies for each year a return is to be retained and file your prior years’ returns where they belong. The files that you decide not to retain are filled with confidential information, so Annie will arrange to have them shredded while she looks on. Done.
And on to the next task, which might be anything from organizing photos, doing an inventory of art or silver for insurance purposes, sorting through closets with resulting trips to a donation center or figuring out which computer cables are still relevant and necessary.
It’s good to be organized and get things done. Annie can help you.
